‘Seven’, Nizar Shafi’s debut film as director, is all set to hit the screens on June 6 in both Telugu and Tamil. Starring Havish, Rehman, Regina Cassandra, Anisha Ambrose, Pujitha Ponnada, Aditi Arya, Nandita Swetha and Tridha Choudhary, the film has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj and cinematography by Shafi himself.
Ahead of the romantic thriller’s release, the makers have briefed the media, expressing their joy over the quality of content.
Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures said, “We are releasing our product on June 6. I bought the worldwide rights of ‘Seven’ when I watched the content. Ramesh Varma, who has also produced the film, has done superb writing. You are going to see a new Havish in ‘Seven’. It’s a new-age, thrilling concept that is at the core of the film. Tomorrow (June 5), all multiplexes will screen premiers of ‘Seven’. We are hoping for the best and we hope the audience will make our movie a blockbuster.”
Nandita Swetha said, “I have done many films but ‘Seven’ is something really special. It was a breeze doing it. I will be seen as a casual city-bred girl. If my performance has come out well, it’s because of the weight of the character. I am seemingly innocent in the trailer but since ‘Seven’ is a suspenseful drama, you have to watch the film to know more about my and other characters. Ramesh Varma sir felt that only I should essay Ramya. He would call me a number of times to insist. As for director Nizar Shafi, I had known him even before this film. He has shown me and other actresses in ‘Seven’ so beautifully. For a debut director, his work is so good. Havish has been a lovely co-star. More than that, he has become a friend of mine. I hope we both get to work a lot. I thank his parents for being so nice to me and other co-stars. Since ‘Seven’ features six heroines, you will not get bored. There are beautiful romances in store. Abhishek Pictures has bought the movie. It assures you that ‘Seven’ is beautiful.”
Pujitha Ponnada said, “First thing, ‘Seven’ is a new kind of movie. Ramesh Varma sir wrote an amazing script and, with his craft, Nizar Shafi sir has made it into an awesome movie. The performances have come out really well. Speaking personally, it has been a wonderful journey, a journey I will always cherish. I thank Abhishek sir for releasing our movie. Everybody who has worked on ‘Seven’ has done it with complete conviction and passion. That’s why the product has shaped up this well.”
Tridha Choudhury said, “This is my first ensemble film. On behalf of the entire cast, I urge the audience to please watch ‘Seven’. It is a mass entertainer and thriller. You will see me in a new light in this one. The thrilling stories in the movie are interconnected. Sit on the edge of your seat and watch it!”
Havish said, “Come tomorrow (June 5), our film will be premiered in all multiplexes from the evening. The theatrical release will happen on June 6. It has been a 2-year journey working on the film. When I watched the trailer recently, I had the same excitement that listening to the story created in me. Abhishek Nama garu is a big producer. I am glad he is on board. Speaking of the product, we could execute what was visualized. The first person who should take the credit for this is Ramesh Varma garu, whose brainchild the film is. He wanted to make the film as a grand affair. When he told me he can’t take up direction as he is already the producer, I suggested Nizar Shafi’s name. I told him his shots are unique. When we approached Nizar, he was initially reluctant. But once he heard the story, he didn’t want to lose the opportunity. He felt he should take it up without fail. With him, ‘Seven’ only became all the more glamorous and romantic. He has exceeded our expectations. Every member of the cast has done the film with passion. They all felt we are creating something great. Chaitan Bharadwaj’s BGM and songs are really a big asset. We are hoping the film will be a blockbuster.”
