Why lose sense to create sensation?

Everybody is making and posting videos on Youtube these days, creating an own channel. Some institutions which can afford are running multiple channels too. It is OK to post videos on Youtube, of course, everybody has his own right. But posting a personal video targeting a few people is different from posting a lot of monetizable videos as a business to attract public and gain profit. Who bombard videos like this definitely come under “Media”, which has its own responsibility. Who wants to become a scribe or a video journalist should be trained to be responsible. Or else, the public will be the victim. That is what happening now.

As the online competition increases day by day, many Youtube channels are playing cheap tricks to attract public. Some text is displayed in the thumbnail for every video, which looks interesting but often found to be false and nonsense if you went into the video.

Mainly the celebrities or exploited in this regard. Recently a popular Telugu Channel on Youtube posted an interview with veteran actress Jayasudha. On the thumbnail, they have written Jayasudha’s statement saying “Director Raghavendra Rao Was Affected Because Of My Marriage” which gives very wrong meaning. Actually, if you go through the video, you will find that there was nothing wrong in the statement of Jayasudha. This is just an example. There are plenty of titled thumbs are there in Youtube conveying wrong messages everyday. Though we can not prove, it is obvious that these vulgar-titled thumbs are made intentionally. But who can stop this practice? Youtube? Viewers? No. Only the celebrities who are being victimized should come forward to resist this senseless sensationalism, which may not happen probably.

So we can expect that this trend will continue until and unless people get vexed and bored with this nonsensical sensationalism.
